so i guess when making a new one it just slapped this name on my new char. its just when i linked steam knew my account still as : gladviooltje. Only way to confirm is to directly log into your account (RS3 and/or OSRS). I highly doubt your account would still be around after 5 years. For subscription-based MMOs, its 1 year after the subscription ended. If you see" doesn't exist" on Hiscores, it means your account is probably permanently banned or that's not your current RSN. From my experience with MMOs, accounts are usually deleted after 1 year of inactivity. If you really want to see your stats, don't check Hiscores on RuneLite (they temporarily remove the stats when there's enough inactivity), Use the OSRS and/or RS3 official websites instead because it is permanent there. If you see" doesn't exist" on Hiscores, it means your account is probably permanently banned or that's not your current RSN. Hiscores are unreliable in tracking accounts due to the the ability to rename accounts (you probably don't remember the RSN when you left it), and because there was a time when inactive accounts' RSNs were renamed with by Jagex. If you see " doesn't exist" when you try to log in, that's probably not your username. ![]() I know it looks like a new game now, but they did a lot to it over the years and your account (stats, achievements, bank) is still available there. RSC/RS1, closed down (due to lack of interest)Ģ. Reason: OSRS came out with everyone starting from scratch.ĭo not fret, It just means, the game you knew then as:ġ. If you said you played OSRS, and are only surprised now with "refreshed stats", means that you never played OSRS in the first place. but i swear that was also an account.īut now that i go through i forgot my pass. Hopefully, youve submitted a recovery request, and the support team is able to help. This email must be responded to within 7 days or the account deletion will not be processed. Prior to deletion, the RuneScape team will send an email with a verification request asking the player to confirm that they want to delete their account. This can't feasibly be verified, and the whole situation is a mess, but judging from the fact that these tweets were deleted and the account has been inactive since, it's possible Diddeboy has at least regained control of their Twitter.Originally posted by Michael:mmm so weird i checked my accounts on runelite. Youre most likely attempting to log in to the wrong account, or youve just forgotten your password. The process of deleting a RuneScape account can take up to 48 hours to complete. Now-deleted tweets from Diddeboy's account claimed that their passwords were shared between multiple platforms and lacked two-factor authentication. ![]() The situation got exponentially worse earlier today when the same hacker appeared to have seized Diddeboy's Twitter account. As of March 12, 2023, it had been "compromised with changed passwords." Diddeboy's plight made it to the OSRS Reddit, but the post was deleted by moderators. The account was maxed back in 2021 after 8,000 hours of Slayer training alone, as this post shows. Their account, Diddeboy1, is a level three pure with maxed non-combat skills including Slayer – an uncommon skill for such accounts to train, and a nearly unprecedented one for them to max. This started a few days ago when a player named Diddeboy alerted support staff at developer Jagex.
